Experiences from Dignified Identities (DIGID) in Migration, Cash Assistance and Healthcare

Summary:

The Kenya Red Cross Society (KRCS), Uganda Red Cross Society (URCS), Save the Children Kenya (SC-K) and IFRC with the support of the Dignified Identity in Cash Assistance (DIGID) Consortium hosted a webinar on 15 February 2023 as part of the Webinar Series on DIGID transition from pilot to scale. During the webinar, speakers from the KRCS, URCS and SC-K shared their experience on implementing the DIGID solution in the migration contexts in Kenya and Uganda to provide cash assistance and continuity of health care to migrants including IDPs, Refugees, Asylum Seekers, and member of host communities. Speaker from the IFRC shared a global overview on migration and opportunities of digital credentials in humanitarian action.
